WHO WE ARE:
The Broomfield Housing Solutions Forum (BHSF) is a network of community organizations and individuals dedicated to advocating and activating solutions addressing the housing needs of Broomfield neighbors earning 80% AMI or less. Participants may include, but are not limited to, nonprofit agencies, for-profit organizations, faith communities, private individuals, and governmental representatives.
MISSION:
To advocate and activate solutions addressing the housing needs of Broomfield neighbors earning 80% AMI or less.
VISION:
Broomfield is a community where anyone who wishes to call it home can access and maintain safe, stable, affordable, and quality housing.
GOALS include coordination to achieve the vision:
Identify, coordinate, and leverage funding and resource opportunities to achieve the BHSF vision.
Coordinate advocacy and outreach to raise awareness about the housing needs, actions to address these needs as well as existing programming and services available.
Offer and coordinate research-based, person-centered programs and services

Join the Broomfield Housing Solutions Forum, a collaborative space where community members, advocates, and experts come together to discuss innovative housing strategies and share updates. These meetings are open, public meetings and anyone interested in supporting the work of the Forum is welcome to attend.

Housing For All: A Collaborative Housing Strategy for Broomfield 2025+ is a testament to the power of collective vision. Born from the collaborative spirit of Broomfield residents and housing advocates, it reflects our shared belief in a future where housing is a pathway to stability and well-being, not a barrier to it. This document embodies our collective commitment to translate this vision into a reality – a reality where every member of our community has access to safe, stable, affordable, and quality housing. This strategy is prepared by our community to serve our community!
Built upon grassroots advocacy, cutting-edge research, and a holistic approach, this strategic plan addresses our urgent housing needs while laying the foundation for long-term solutions. Our commitment to Housing for All is only as strong as the resources we invest in it. Achieving this goal requires action and funding:
Maximize existing resources: Optimize current tools and mechanisms for greater impact.
Explore new avenues: Pursue innovative financial strategies to generate funding.
Engage our community: Rally support through votes and active participation.
Without new funding streams, "Housing for All" risks becoming an empty promise, leading to a future where friends, neighbors, and families may be forced to leave Broomfield, weakening our community.
Strategy Mission:
Guide collaborative action, informed policy, and systemic change to develop housing options for individuals of all income levels experiencing housing instability, with a priority on households earning below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). We aim to create a thriving housing ecosystem where all Broomfield residents have access to safe, stable, affordable, and quality housing.
